Data Engineer Requirements

Job Title: Data Engineer


Experience: 6 to 7 years


Contract Duration:6 months to 1 year


Work Type: Remote


Shift Time: 3:30 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST


Key Skills:

Data Engineer


1. SQL Database Tuning and Performance Optimization:

   - Demonstrated ability to optimize SQL databases for enhanced performance.


2. Airflow Implementation (Python or Scala):

   - Proficient in implementing Airflow workflows using either Python or Scala.


3. Programming Proficiency:

   - Strong command of Python and PySpark for data processing and analysis.


4. Data Warehousing:

   - Experience in utilizing Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks for effective data warehousing solutions.


5. ETL Services Expertise:

   - In-depth knowledge of ETL services in AWS such as EMR, GLUE, S3, Redshift, or equivalent services in GCP or Azure.


6. Large-scale Data Processing:

   - Proven track record of working with gigabytes of data or more, showcasing the ability to handle substantial data volumes.
